Embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure with our exclusive four-day rafting trip, where the thrill of the river meets the warmth of freshly baked pastries. Hosted by Northwest Rafting Company and Emily Little of Buena Luz Bakery.
After spending 10 years navigating the river with NWRC, Emily returned to her hometown of Port Angeles to open her bakery. With a goal to be the “good light” in the community, Buena Luz focuses on providing quality products served as if customers were in their home.
After teaching multiple cooking classes at the bakery, the idea bloomed into teaching classes and bringing Buena Luz to life on the river. Alongside world-class rafting and stunning riverside campsites, you’ll enjoy delicious, hand-crafted pastries, participate in a Dutch oven baking class, learn the art of cookie decorating, and get your hands dirty making dough. With expert rafting guides and gourmet meals, this trip is the ultimate blend of outdoor adventure and culinary delight.
Days on the river will include the opportunity to navigate inflatable kayaks, join a team of paddlers on a paddle boat, or be a princess in a gear boat and chat with one of the many river guides. There will be numerous stops along the way, including gourmet lunches, rock-jumping opportunities, and scenic side hikes. Once at camp, there will be lots of time to relax by the river, take a side hike, or learn about baking from Emily. We will all eat dinner together and share stories from our days adventures.
Four days of river time, baking workshops, camp conversations, and sleeping under the stars will lead to an unforgettable trip
